# Email draft

Identify the recipient relationship, desired response, confirmed facts, and any deadline. Ask about missing information only when needed to avoid changing the user's intent. Otherwise use a visible placeholder or omit the unnecessary detail.

Put the reason for writing early. Keep the requested action and timing explicit, with a tone matching the relationship. Preserve uncertainty and avoid adding excuses, apologies, promises, attachments, meeting times, or approval claims that the user did not provide.

Return a subject and a ready-to-review body. Separate internal questions from text intended for the recipient. When suggesting alternative phrasing, explain the practical difference briefly rather than producing many near-identical versions.

Check that dates and requests agree throughout the draft. Do not say an attachment is included unless it is actually supplied for sending. Drafting does not authorize sending, scheduling, or contacting the recipient. Write in the requested language, or the user's language by default.
